Triple-A All-Star Game Tonight

Carlos Peguero and Brian Moran will represent the Tacoma Rainiers in the Tripla-A All-Star Game tonight at 6:05.

You can watch it on the MLB Network, or listen to the national radio broadcast on 850 AM or streaming online right here. The broadcasters for TV are an MLB Network crew, and the radio broadcast team is my pal Ryan Radtke of the Reno Aces and Howard Kellman of the Indianapolis Indians.

The Pacific Coast League starts young flamethrower RHP Jarred Cosart (7-4, 3.29) of Oklahoma City; the International League starts veteran RHP Greg Reynolds (10-2, 2.54) of Louisville (a former Colorado Springs Sky Sox).

Hopefully Peguero will hit a bomb and Moran will strike out some hapless International League hitters. Lets go PCL!

The Rainiers resume play on Thursday in Fresno – I’ll have an updated blog with some thoughts on a very odd coaching move by the Mariners tomorrow.
