Nationals assistant GM Bob Boone was the Tacoma Tigers manager in the 1990s, and the Nats OTHER assistant GM, Roy Clark, was a draft pick of the Mariners and played in Bellingham and Spokane. Their scouting director, Kris Kline, is from Oak Harbor.

Ex-Rainiers pitcher Ryan Franklin’s a special assistant to the GM in St. Louis, and ex-Rainiers OF Kerry Robinson works as a scout for the Cardinals.

As for the Giants, ex-Tacoma player Willie McCovey’s a “senior advisor” to Laurence Baer and Felipe Alou’s a special assistant GM for Brian Sabean. Joey Amalfitano works in their player development group too.
